HAPPY RELEASE DAY!!!!

I am thrilled beyond words to announce that my second novel, Lady of Pelts, the sequel to Hunter of Seals, is officially out in the world. You can find it now on Amazon, Barnes & Noble, or my Etsy store (where I recently started selling both signed paperback and ebooks, by the way!). Links to all of the above can be found here. Special shoutouts to my incredible cover artist, Suzie Mason, and my map artist (and mom!), Cynthia Kuni, whose depiction of the Sealg Roin is back to guide you through another book.
The editing process for Lady of Pelts was very different from that of Hunter of Seals. Like many sequels, this book is a lot more character-driven than the first installment in the series, with a heavy focus on the emotional journeys of the main characters as they process the events of book one. As a result, much of this book came from a very personal place emotionally speaking, and a lot of aspects of my own experience with trauma healing, self-acceptance, and rebuilding made their way into the book. That made Lady of Pelts exponentially harder to edit, but it has also made the positive reception this book has had so far a hundred times more rewarding. Lady of Pelts is debuting with a 4.86 average rating on Goodreads, including six 5-star reviews. I’m immensely grateful to my incredible ARC team, to my unbelievably patient and supportive editor Megan Randall, to the early readers who helped me shape this story, and everyone else who has helped and supported me along the way. Thank you all for believing in me and believing in Maeve.
There will be some big announcements over the next few months about the next few installments in the series, so be sure to check back here in, let’s say, early September? And make sure you’re following me on social media so you don’t miss anything (I’m now on both Instagram and TikTok!).
