I’m a novelist, horse girl, and recovering engineer from the Pacific Northwest, writing fantasy, sci-fi, and horror under the pen name Colleen McCracken. I’ve been making up stories my whole life, writing them down since I learned how, and turning them into novels since 8th grade. The first two books in my contemporary fantasy series, Hunter of Seals and Lady of Pelts, are out now.
On my blog I share some of the tips & tricks I’ve picked up a long the way, in the hopes that it might help someone else too. Writing is tough, and we all learn stuff the hard way … but we shouldn’t always have to.
